An unusual early nineteenth century unmarked silver nutmeg grater, of cylindrical form with dual detachable covers, each decorated with concentric circular bands, the interior with blue steel rasp. Atypical size, as being larger than normal ‘pocket’ size and smaller than ‘table’ grater size, which may indicate a provincial extraction.

We have not seen this specific form before.
