A rare George III silver ‘counter’ vinaigrette, of circular form with reeded decoration, the top with a rotating cover and viewing panel to show enamel number indicators from one through ten, the hinged cover opening to reveal a silver gilt interior with pierced shield shaped filigree grille.

Condition: Excellent antique condition. Silver in good condition and the black enamel plaque containing the gilt numerals is in good order.
