A fine quality George V silver and tortoiseshell jewellery box or casket, of cresent form, with hinged cover, decorated with borders of floral garlands, atop four bun feet. 
 
The hinged cover opens to reveal a lined interior. 
 
Matching hallmarks struck to the silver base, the rim of the cover, and the interior flange.

Condition: Excellent antique condition. The piece stands true on a flat surface. The silver is a good colour, and a good gauge. The tortoiseshell is in fine order with no losses, and no chips. Free from repair.
